During a recent appearance on the podcast “Politickin,” the sad attempt for a comedienne, Kathy Griffin claimed that after the recent Presidential Election she wanted “to post (her infamous Trump head picture) the picture again.”
“When he won, I reached out to about seven of my attorneys. And by the way, my attorneys all adore me. All their kids are going to college because of me anyway. Every single one of them. I was like, I'm so tempted, I want to post the picture again. I want to post the picture again and every one of them. And you know the lawyer speak –‘Dear Kathy, while I completely understand and agree with you, blah blah blah, you do have an outstanding case in federal court in Tennessee coming up. You don't want to taint the jury pool.’”
Griffin shared her thoughts with California Governor Gavin Newsom on the podcast, where she discussed the professional fallout that followed from the picture of Griffin holding Trump's fake severed head.
Griffin was let go from CNN’s New Year Show and attendance at her live shows suffered following the pictures distribution. During the program Griffin claimed her current live show seems to be better received in blue states (so surprising).

“I had a show in Augusta, Georgia, and they had to cancel it because they only sold 27 tickets. So I'm like a politician. It depends on, like, if the county is blue or not. I swear, I tend to have better sales if there's a Democrat governor and senators.”
At least Newsome seemed to find that fact amusing.
