In only a year, the Left has devolved from “Punch a Nazi,” to “Punch a Jew,” to “Shoot the Jews.”
Remember when multiple Ivy League presidents said it “depends on the context” whether or not they’d discipline students who call for the genocide of Jews on campus? On Wednesday night, in what sounds like a scene out of Kristallnacht, a black gunman outside the University of Michigan nearly heeded that call.
The university’s rabbi was in the middle of hosting Rosh Hashanah dinner at his house with 20 Jewish students when the masked thug, believed to be in his 20s, broke inside and held everyone at gunpoint.
“I’m taking everything, give me everything,” he threatened the group, after entering the home’s back door wielding a handgun, according to The Detroit News.
While the thief reportedly ran off with a little more than a bag, occupants escaped through the front door before anyone could get injured.
But in a nothingburger statement, UMich President Santa Ono claims the local police department is “investigating this as a home invasion and a crime of opportunity," rather than the obvious conclusion one could make from this totally-not-a-hate crime.
"As tensions in the Middle East have escalated in recent days, it is more important than ever that we work collectively to offer solace and safety to one another,” Ono summed up the near-death experience of 20 students in his kumbaya narrative.
Just a few days prior, Jewish fraternity members were assaulted in a separate incident. One of them reports being punched before a group of vandals threw glass bottles at their frat house.
Earlier last month, another group of thugs pummeled a Jewish student on campus to the ground after asking, “Are you Jewish?”

Meanwhile, Wednesday’s burglar is still at-large, running around somewhere, while cops arrested one woman believed to be his accomplice.
