The jihadists of academia are quickly finding out they can no longer turn their Ivy League campuses into terrorist boot camps… at least on the taxpayer dime.

On Friday, the Trump administration announced Columbia University must kiss goodbye roughly $400 million in grants and contracts for violating federal anti-discrimination laws over the targeting of Jews.

This comes at the end of a week that saw mobs of young aspiring terrorists, including alleged foreign nationals storming the buildings of both Columbia and its sister-college, Barnard.

Some were arrested and others marked for deportation as part of the long-awaited consequences they will finally face under the new administration.

But that didn’t stop the university from reaching the point of a campus-wide bomb threat… YES… A BOMB THREAT on Wednesday.

“Since October 7, Jewish students have faced relentless violence, intimidation, and anti-Semitic harassment on their campuses – only to be ignored by those who are supposed to protect them,” noted Secretary of Education Linda McMahon in a statement co-authored by the Departments of Justice, Health and Human Services, and the General Services Administration.

But faculty and administrators not only ignored their students, they actively helped make Columbia judenrein for nearly 2 years. From last April to June, the university welcomed professional Antifa types onto campus to build an armed autonomous zone with hundreds of students pledging support for Hamas.

Minouche Shafik, the ousted Columbia president, had allowed jihadi cosplayers to surround Jewish students in mobs, beat them with sticks, pelt them with rocks and block them from getting to their classes.  Students who complained were mocked and called “privileged” in faculty group chats.

Remaining Jews were encouraged to leave, while the university invited Congresswoman  Ilhan Omar to comfort the brats who terrorized them. Columbia even banned Jewish faculty members, blaming their very presence for instigating the terrorizers.

Some Jews weren’t even welcome outside the gates:

When the Hamassholes grew even more violent, Shafik refused to let the NYPD break them up, until they smashed their way into a building, taking underpaid janitors hostage.

It was befitting of an activist-president who suggested terrorism is merely a “form of protest” just two months after 9/11. But she, along with other Ivy League presidents were eventually forced to quit in disgrace after being grilled by the U.S. Congress.

It was a small step compared to the promise kept by our administration today, which vows to "demonstrate to Columbia and other universities that we will not tolerate their appalling inaction any longer.”
