100 Years On, Battle Remembered That Made Possible the Rebirth of Israel

In the Israeli town of Beer Sheva, Israeli, Australian and New Zealand leaders on Tuesday marked the 100th anniversary of a World War I battle that helped lay the groundwork for the subsequent re-establishment of the state of Israel.
