On the August 1 edition of ABC's World News, anchor Diane Sawyer cued up liberal House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi to bash the new debt deal from the left. Sawyer asked if the legislation was a "bitter pill," and prodded Pelosi: "You think this is really going to hurt real people?"
