Afghan Ambassador Says More than 7,000 Foreign Terrorists in the Country, Including ISIS-Affiliated Fighters

An estimated 7,000-plus foreign terrorist fighters are believed to be operating in Afghanistan, according to the country’s ambassador to the U.N., although it’s unclear how many of those belong to, or have pledged loyalty to, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria.
