During an appearance on Anderson Cooper 360 Wednesday night, The Art of the Deal co-author Tony Schwartz said that if he could rename The Art of the Deal, he would call it The Sociopath; arguing that President Trump meets the Google definition of a sociopath "without any question." Schwartz and host Anderson Cooper were talking about The New York Times' publication of President Trump's tax returns from 1985 to 1994; which shows that he suffered enormous losses during that time period. After Cooper said that Trump was "literally the biggest loser in the American economy for a number of years," Schwartz accused him of "running a personal Ponzi scheme" and implied that President Trump evaded taxes: "But the second big story here, Anderson, is about tax evasion. Because I'd be willing to bet a lot of money, if I were a betting man, that vast parts of those losses that he claimed, that are part of the $1.1 billion in taxes he avoided were fake, and they were made up and they were created precisely to avoid paying taxes that he legitimately owed."
