Joe Biden said during Thursday night’s final presidential debate that industries must transition to renewable energy sources “to get to ultimately a complete zero emissions by 2025” – that’s a quarter of a century earlier than the goal set in the Paris climate accords, and cited in many of the more ambitious climate action plans.
