Catholic bishops reacted strongly to Vice President Biden's assertion that Catholic institutions won't have to cover contraception. The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops issued a statement describing Biden's claim as “inaccurate.” Currently, over thirty lawsuits filed by religious institutions against the HHS mandate are pending.
