British tabloid paper asks readership about support for the EDL

Interesting video of testimony to the Leveson enquiry on standards in the British press, by Richard Peppiatt, fromer reporter for the UK tabloid daily, The Daily Star.

In an aside during his examination by counsel, Mr Peppiatt inadvertantly revealed one of the few times public support for the EDL has ever been assessed - it has never once been quantified by any polling agency. His answer is surprising.
