CBS Hammers Obama, Clinton for Sleazy Weinstein Connection

[See NewsBusters this morning.] CBS This Morning stood alone on Monday in exposing the connections between prominent Democrats, like the Clintons and the Obamas, and the sleazy, scandal-plagued Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein. ABC ignored the now-fired executive’s years of contributions to Democrats, instead linking him to Donald Trump. But CBS’s Tony Dokoupil dropped the hammer: “Since 2007, Weinstein has made about $600,000 in political contributions, mostly to Democrats. He donated nearly $40,000 to help Hillary Clinton in 2016 and more than $70,000 to reelect President Obama in 2012.”
