China Blocks Wikipedia From Observer Status at IP-Protection Agency, Citing Taiwan Issue

China has blocked an application by the foundation that publishes Wikipedia to serve as an observer at a U.N. specialized agency that promotes the protection of intellectual property (IP), after complaining that its websites contain “disinformation” regarding Taiwan.
