China’s Top Diplomat: Beijing Supports Peace in Ukraine; ‘Some Forces’ Don’t

The Chinese Communist Party’s top foreign affairs official told the Munich Security Conference that Beijing has always promoted a peaceful settlement to the Russia-Ukraine crisis. But “some forces” oppose that, caring nothing for the lives of Ukrainians, but appear to have a “strategic goal” beyond Ukraine.
