Thursday night’s episode of Cuomo on NewsNation delivered a stern warning to Democrats, universities, and anyone pushing anti-Israel rhetoric as responsible, at least in part, for the tragic murders of two young Israeli Embassy staff members. Cuomo began his monologue by reiterating that this was not a partisan issue, that it was not MAGA vs. the left, but rather something festering that needed immediate attention.
The murders of 26-year-old Sarah Milgram and her boyfriend, 30-year-old Yaron Lischinsky, were a result of anti-Israel rhetoric touted by Democrats and our left dominated college system, Cuomo posited.
The murderer, Elias Rodriguez, was openly and proudly anti-Israel, a socialist, and held violently pro-Hamas views. These views are propagated by our American universities. Cuomo pointed to tweets spewing similar anti-Semitic rhetoric to prove that this is not an isolated incident. American young men, like Rodriguez, were not being radicalized by ISIS or fringe groups online, they are becoming radicalized by college professors and their elected officials. These were American, homegrown pro-Muslim radicals.
