CNN Pulls on Heartstrings To Fight Trump Ban On Birthright Citizenship

To combat Trump's executive order banning birthright citizenship, CNN This Morning features, based on an article in The Independent, a British newspaper, the story of "Monica," a pregnant Venezuelan migrant who has been in the US for six years without permanent status: "She is stressed, anxious and 'depressed, facing a 'reality that my child might not be able to become a U.S. citizen.'” Note that despite being in the US for six years, "Monica" had to speak through an interpreter.
