CNN Wrangles With Libs Pushing 'Abundance' As Dems' Way Forward

The panel on Monday's edition of CNN This Morning discusses "Abundance," the new book by liberal commentators Ezra Klein and Derek Thompson. The pair propose that liberals adopt a more relaxed approach to government regulation, which will in turn promote abundance for all. The panel is generally dubious. Host Audie Cornish points out that the energy in the Dem party is in the thousands turning up for the "Fight Oligarchy" rallies led by Bernie Sanders and AOC. CNN's Stephen Collinson says that parties tend to change directions not on the basis of a new ideas, but "when you have a personality that leads the party in a certain direction." -- a la Trump.
