Cruz Honors Liu Xiaobo, ‘Hero of Freedom and Democracy,’ One Day Before His Death

One day before long-imprisoned Chinese dissident Liu Xiaobo died of cancer, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) honored him on the Senate floor, and expressed hope Beijing would allow him and his wife to travel to the U.S. to live our his remaining days.
