On this day, 1/11/89, former President Ronald Reagan gave his farewell address to the nation and expressed his thanks for being allowed to serve and spoke words of hope for a glowing American future.
This above clip focuses on his talk of tax cuts for the people and of preparing our military to be the strongest in the world after a period of 'weakness and confusion.'
