Democrat Challenges Use of Term ‘Terrorists’ for Taliban

Rep. Jackie Speier (D., Calif.) on Tuesday not only challenged the use of the term terrorists to describe the Taliban but summarized its years of brutal, misogynistic rule in Afghanistan after seizing it by force with the words, “they were part of the leadership of that country before we engaged there.”
