The Department of Defense posted a video last week paying tribute to dogs that serve along side U.S. troops deployed to some of the most dangerous places in the world. A black lab named Dart that’s featured in the video is credited with finding more than 30 Improvised Explosive Devices, or IEDs, when he was deployed in Afghanistan.

These dogs, according to the video, “save countless service members lives” and also help the military find drugs and even terrorists.
