During a joint House Judiciary and Oversight and Government Reform Committee hearing Thursday, FBI Agent Peter Strzok defended his use of the phrase, “We’ll stop it,” in a text message to his FBI colleague Lisa Page regarding then candidate Donald Trump’s candidacy, saying it “in no way suggested” that the FBI would take action to influence Trump’s candidacy.
