IAEA Head Insists Side Deal With Iran is ‘Technically Sound’

International Atomic Energy Agency director-general Yukiya Amano said Tuesday that a confidential IAEA-Iran understanding was “technically sound” did “not compromise our standards in any way.” The plan has drawn fire over reports that Iran will collect its own evidence at a key suspect site.
