Tuesday’s White House press briefing drew plenty of headlines for K-Pop band BTS’s appearance, but it was short-lived and, before too long, economic adviser Brian Deese and Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre faced questions about the economy, gas prices, gun control, inflation, and student loans. In the case of Jean-Pierre, she continued using her briefing binder as a clutch.
