Looking to a “Higher Authority,’ Cook County Commissioner Wants UN Peacekeepers in Chicago

Cook County commissioner Richard Boykin says he's appealing to the U.N. to send peacekeepers to help Chicago deal with violent crime. He said Chicago’s leaders have failed to protect the community and suggested that the U.N. represented a “higher authority” than elected U.S. officials.
