McAleenan: Mexico Has Agreed to ‘More Than Tenfold’ Increase in Migrant Law Enforcement Numbers

Acting Homeland Security Secretary Kevin McAleenan on Sunday disputed the notion that an immigration deal reached with Mexico contains little new, saying that while Mexico has previously deployed several hundred troops to its southern border with Guatemala, it’s now agreed to a “more than tenfold” increase in numbers.
