Monday morning was met with news that two GOP Senators, Jerry Moran of Kansas and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, who originally said they would support holding hearings for Supreme Court nominee Judge Merrick Garland had changed their minds over the weekend. The panelist on Morning Joe were not too happy about this development especially co-host Mika Brzezinski. “They just vomited all over themselves. I’m serious. Just a mess. The entire Republican party.” Brzezinski spewed crassly.
“Just hold the hearing. Seriously? Just hold the hearing. Vote no.” Joe Scarborough insisted. Scarborough said that he used to have respect for Senator Moran when he wanted to hold a confirmation hearing for Garland, but things have changed. The co-host brought the both senator’s convictions into question stating “Be man enough or woman enough to look a guy into the eye [and vote no to him].”
