New Oil Pipeline From Canada To America

A new pipeline from Alberta, Canada to Houston, Texas could bring as much as 830,000 additional barrels of Canadian oil to America in the future. The Obama administration just needs to approve of this pipeline. Environmentalists fear the proposed pipeline would cause harm to the environment by affecting drinking water, using a pipe they claim is susceptible to rupturing, and the oil in Alberta is not easily accessible, and therefore would lead to higher greenhouse gas emissions.
