Obama Tells Iraq Unite to Fight ISIL: 'We Can't Do It for Them'

President Barack Obama on Friday announced that the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant or ISIL, an offshoot of al Qaeda that operates in Iraq and Syria, has made "significant gains" in the region in recent days, and Iraqi security forces are struggling to defend "a number of cities" against the terrorist offensive.
