Pelosi: Obama’s Budget a ‘Blueprint for Economic Stabilization’ for America, Will ‘Reduce the Deficit’

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) recently said that President Barack Obama’s fiscal year 2010 budget of $3.6 trillion was a “blueprint for economic stabilization for our country.” But the Treasury Department has reported that the United States posted a budget deficit for the month of April nearly four times the $20.91 billion shortfall registered in April 2009.
