Reacting to Massive Protests, Trump Says He Hopes ‘It All Works Out For China and For Hong Kong’

President Trump on Wednesday marveled at the size of protests in Hong Kong against a proposed law allowing extradition to the communist-ruled mainland. “I understand the reason for the demonstration,” he said, “but I’m sure they’ll be able to work it out.”
