Rep. Tlaib Gives Equivocal Apology After Accusing Rep. Meadows of a ‘Racist Act’

During Wednesday’s House Oversight Committee hearing, Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) accused “someone” of bringing a Trump-supporting black woman along as a “prop,” an act she called “racist.”  Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.), who had invited an African-American Trump family friend, took offense.
