Rights Abusers at UN Oppose ‘Country-Specific’ Resolutions – Except For Those Targeting Israel

Having supported more than a dozen U.N. General Assembly resolutions condemning Israel over the past fortnight, the representatives of some of the world’s most egregious right-abusing regimes complained on Wednesday about “country-specific” resolutions targeting some among their own ranks, saying they violate the cherished U.N. principles of “objectivity, non-selectivity, and impartiality.”
