Russia: Ukraine Reparations Push Amounts to Theft of Sovereign Assets; Canada: ‘Balderdash’

The U.N. General Assembly on Monday approved a resolution supporting the establishment of an international mechanism “for reparation for damage, loss or injury” arising from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Russia’s ambassador said it amounts to “in illegal expropriation of sovereign assets.”
