Sanctioned Iranian Uses UN Human Rights Platform to Criticize the US

The U.N.’s top human rights body on Tuesday gave a platform to an Iranian regime official sanctioned by the European Union for his role in “human rights violations, arbitrary arrests, denials of prisoners’ rights and an increase in executions.” Alireza Avaei used the opportunity to criticize the United States.
