Sen. Schmitt Urges ‘Conservatives’ To ‘Stand Up,’ ‘Fight’ For Free Speech

Schmitt joined Fox News Sunday host Shannon Bream to discuss legal activism and his new book The Last Line of Defense: How to Beat the Left in Court. “In your book you talk about using the legal system to effectuate policy changes and the left has been doing that with some success at least in the short-term with regard to Trump administration policies in Trump 2.0,” said Bream, referencing recent cases against Trump’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (I.C.E). Schmitt responded, noting several of his successful cases, including the free speech case Missouri v. Biden, and encouraged “conservatives” to stay the course.
