State Dep’t Says US Does Not Encourage Iranian Involvement in Iran

A day after President Obama said the U.S. has told Iranians operating against ISIS inside Iraq not to “mess with” the U.S., and that the U.S. would not “mess with” them, the State Department stressed Monday that the administration was not “encouraging” the Iranian military involvement.
