FRANCISCO FAJARDO: With the Biden administration a few weeks away, the Border Patrol states that there is an increase in the number of arrests. While there were just over 405,000 arrests along the border for the entire fiscal year 2020, there have been 135,000 arrests between October and November. In Tijuana shelters, deported migrants like Olvin will seek to try to cross again, once there is a new president.

OLVIN RODRIGUEZ: The main thing is, he says he's not going to continue with the wall. That's the most important thing, isn't it? He's not going to continue with the wall.

FAJARDO: Today on the Fox network, the Commissioner of the Customs and Border Protection Office blamed the increase on the Biden administration before they’ve even begun.

Activists are not surprised by these statements and they say that over the next few months, we will constantly hear the word "crisis in the border”. According to them, this would be the Border Patrol's strategy against the Biden administration.
