MSNBC analyst Toure beat everyone in the race to compare traditional marriage laws to segregation. During NBC News correspondent Pete Williams' report on the same-sex marriage cases, Toure asked if Chief Justice John Roberts would rule in favor of same-sex marriage to avoid being compared to the justices who voted to take rights away like the justices in the Plessy v. Ferguson segregation case.
