As UN Security Council Extends Mandate of Peacekeepers in Lebanon, US Issues Warning

The U.N. Security Council on Thursday extended the mandate of a peacekeeping force in Lebanon, but amid concerns that Hezbollah terrorists (and an uncooperative Lebanese military) are preventing the blue helmets from doing their job the U.S. warned that it “cannot continue to accept the status quo.”
