US Ambassador: US Embargo Does Not Force Cuban Regime to Violate its People’s Human Rights

Before the U.N. General Assembly on Thursday passed its annual resolution condemning the U.S. embargo of Cuba, U.S. Ambassador Kelly Craft challenged the notion that the embargo somehow forces the regime to violate the human rights of the Cuban people. It does so, she said, by choice.
