U.S. Delegate Calls Budget Cuts a ‘Significant Inflection Point’ for the UN

In the early hours of Christmas Eve, bleary-eyed U.N. diplomats approved a regular U.N. budget for 2018-2019. U.N. delegate Cherith Norman Chalet called the negotiated budget with its cuts a “significant inflection point for this organization.”
