US Special Envoy Says 'Insecurities,' 'Rootlessness' Draw Young People to ISIS

In its campaign to lure recruits from around the world, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS/ISIL) has developed a keen grasp of “certain insecurities that come with being a young person in a modern, multicultural world,” the administration’s special envoy for the anti-ISIS coalition said on Wednesday.
