Virus Expert Team Leader Says It Aims to Find Out What Happened Between Origin in Bats And First Wuhan Cases

The leader of an international team of experts probing the origins of COVID-19 says the virus “originated in bats at some point” but what happened between then and the first cases recorded in Wuhan remains unknown, and is what the team – now finally in China – hopes to establish.
