WHO Official Pushes Back at Claims China’s Not Being Transparent About Virus Numbers

The U.S. and others have questioned the reliability of Chinese data on the COVID-19 pandemic, but a WHO official said Wednesday countries were sometimes unable to provide full data because they were overwhelmed by the scale of the crisis. He called for “a little bit more balance.”
