Eric Scheiner is the Senior Director of MRC Video, and has over 20 years of experience in broadcasting, documentaries, and video production. Beginning his broadcasting career in the First-In-The-Nation Primary state of New Hampshire, politics, government spending and constitutional issues have been a major thread through his work. Eric left New England in 2005 to host the launch of the award winning 'WYOU Interactive' program for the Pennsylvania CBS affiliate before relocating to the DC area and joining with the Media Research Center.

Joe Barton (R-Tex.), slated to be chairman of the House Energy & Commerce Committee in the next Congress, said he opposes the Federal Reserve’s plan to purchase $600-billion in federal government debt (through Treasury bonds), but does not know if Congress can do anything to stop the Fed. He also said he is not prepared to call for the Fed chairman’s resignation over the issue.
