Fauci on Promising COVID-19 Antiviral Trial: ‘A Drug Can Block This Virus’

Commenting on a study into whether the antiviral drug Remdesivir can speed up recovery from COVID-19, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Anthony Fauci said at the White House Wednesday that what interim results have “proven is that a drug can block this virus.”
