As ISAF Mission Draws to a Close, General Reports Rising Number of Afghan Personnel Deaths

As the International Security Assistance Force mission in Afghanistan enters its final weeks, the No. 2 U.S. commander there said Wednesday the Afghan National Security Forces were “winning,” although he also confirmed an increase in the number of Afghan troops killed in action, a development he said was “not sustainable.”
