WH Indicates Obama Will Not be Silent on LGBT Issues in Kenya

White House press secretary Josh Earnest indicated Monday that President Obama would not avoid LGBT issues during his forthcoming visit to Kenya, and would “not hesitate to make clear that the protection of basic universal human rights in Kenya is also a priority and consistent with the values that we hold dear here in the United States of America.”
